Rooted locally and serving Southeast Asia, ChanHonTech helps footwear manufacturers turn 3D printing technology into reliable production capacity.
On June 12, 2026, Farsoon Technologies, ChanHonTech and VoxelDance Technology jointly organized a footwear 3D printing technology forum.
The event brought together industry specialists, footwear manufacturers, mold makers and technology partners to discuss how additive manufacturing can support digital shoe mold development and scalable production.
As one of the co-organizers, ChanHonTech delivered a presentation entitled:
“ChanHonTech: A Localized Partner for Scalable 3D Printing Applications in Footwear.”
During the presentation, ChanHonTech representative Vinci shared how the company combines local service, inventory, production capacity and regional cooperation to support footwear customers across Southeast Asia.
Machine delivery is not the end
Purchasing and installing a 3D printer is only the beginning of a footwear manufacturer’s digital production journey.
Once a machine enters daily production, customers must manage many additional challenges, including operator training, process optimization, material supply, spare parts, software, data preparation, maintenance and fluctuations in production demand.
For this reason, ChanHonTech follows a clear service principle:
Service starts after delivery. Machine delivery is not the end. Stable production is the goal.
Effective localized support is not limited to repairing a machine after a failure. It means continuously helping customers solve the technical and operational problems that arise during daily production.
For footwear and mold manufacturers working under strict delivery schedules, the availability of spare parts, consumables, powder and technical assistance can directly affect productivity and customer delivery.
A carefully selected technology ecosystem
ChanHonTech does not aim to represent as many brands as possible. Instead, the company follows a selective distribution strategy:
One technology route, one long-term leading partner.
For footwear and mold manufacturing applications, ChanHonTech has developed an integrated solution portfolio covering equipment, software, scanning and production support.
The portfolio includes:
- Farsoon powder bed fusion systems;
- VoxelDance shoe mold data preparation software;
- SHINING 3D scanning solutions;
- ChanHonTech self-developed SLA systems and authorized solutions from leading Chinese manufacturers;
- Supporting equipment for metal additive manufacturing, including air compressors, nitrogen generators and wire EDM systems.
When selecting auxiliary equipment suppliers, ChanHonTech gives priority to companies that already have service capabilities or established support networks in Vietnam.
For ChanHonTech, authorization is only the beginning. Learning the technology, understanding the process and transferring that capability to the customer are even more important.
Regional cooperation between Shenzhen, Vietnam and Indonesia
To provide more effective support throughout Southeast Asia, ChanHonTech has established a three-location cooperation model:
Shenzhen as the technical backend, Vietnam as the local service base and Indonesia as a developing growth market.
Shenzhen: Technical and supply chain support
The Shenzhen team coordinates technical resources, supply chains, complex project evaluations, equipment support and material sourcing.
It also provides technical backup for ChanHonTech’s teams and customers in Southeast Asia.
Vietnam: Local service and application development
Vietnam is ChanHonTech’s primary localized service base in Southeast Asia.
The local team can understand customer requirements more directly, respond to production issues more quickly and continuously follow up on equipment, materials, processes and delivery.
Indonesia: Building the next local service network
ChanHonTech is continuing to develop its service, equipment support and market capabilities in Indonesia.
The company aims to apply the localized experience developed in Vietnam to additional manufacturing markets across Southeast Asia.
This regional model enables customers to receive fast local support while still benefiting from technical, supply chain and application resources in China.
The Vietnam model: From local inventory to SLA capacity support
During the forum, ChanHonTech introduced its Vietnam service model as an example of how localization can support stable additive manufacturing operations.
For metal additive manufacturing, ChanHonTech is working with Farsoon to establish local inventory capabilities in Vietnam and Indonesia. These facilities are designed to improve access to spare parts, consumables and metal powders.
The company is also continuously improving compliant import procedures and plans to upgrade its explosion-proof powder storage facilities to better meet customer EHS requirements.
For SLA production, ChanHonTech currently operates 10 self-developed SLA systems in Binh Duong, Vietnam.
This local capacity can support footwear mold manufacturers when their internal capacity is insufficient or when urgent resin patterns and prototypes are required. Depending on the project, delivery can be completed in as little as one to three days.
ChanHonTech also uses dedicated vehicles and drivers to support reliable local delivery.
What truly gives customers confidence is not simply the number of machines available. It is knowing that someone is handling each issue, following up on each project and taking responsibility for the result every day.
Localization is essential for scalable footwear 3D printing
As additive manufacturing becomes more widely used in footwear and shoe mold production, customer expectations are changing.
The key question is no longer simply:
“Can this machine print the part?”
Customers now need to know:
- Can the equipment operate reliably over the long term?
- Can materials and spare parts be supplied quickly?
- Can the software, scanning system and printing equipment work together?
- Can technical problems be resolved locally?
- Is backup production capacity available during peak demand?
- Can the complete workflow operate in a compliant and sustainable way?
Competition in footwear additive manufacturing is therefore moving beyond individual machine specifications.
It is becoming a competition between complete ecosystems that combine equipment, software, materials, processes, local service and production support.
Supporting the transition from trial projects to scalable production
The forum was not only an opportunity to share technology. It also gave ChanHonTech the opportunity to communicate directly with footwear manufacturers, mold makers and industry partners.
Looking ahead, ChanHonTech will continue to strengthen cooperation between its teams in China, Vietnam and Indonesia.
The company will further develop local inventory, technical assistance, application training and production support while working with partners such as Farsoon Technologies, VoxelDance Technology and SHINING 3D to expand additive manufacturing applications throughout Southeast Asia.
A valuable local partner does more than deliver a machine.
A valuable partner supports the customer throughout the complete journey—from equipment installation and operator training to process validation and stable production.
Rooted locally, serving Southeast Asia.
ChanHonTech looks forward to working with more footwear manufacturers, shoe mold companies and technology partners to turn 3D printing from an innovative tool into reliable, scalable production capacity.
