Precision Control for Industrial SLA Laser Scanning Systems
The RTC5 Control Card is a PCIe-based control solution designed for laser scanning, laser output control, digital I/O and motion control applications. It can be installed in a Windows-based industrial computer and connected to the scan head, laser source and other machine components through multiple communication and expansion interfaces.
With support for the SL2-100 communication protocol, analog laser output, digital input/output and optional secondary scan-head control, the RTC5 control card can be used as a core control component in industrial SLA 3D printers and other laser scanning systems.
PCIe Computer Connection
The control card connects directly to an industrial computer through a PCIe interface, providing stable communication between the control software and the SLA printer hardware.
SL2-100 Scan Head Control
A D-SUB 9-pin interface supports the SL2-100 communication protocol for controlling compatible galvanometer scan heads.
Laser Control Interface
The D-SUB 15-pin laser connector provides digital and analog signals for laser triggering, laser power adjustment and operating status control.
0–10 V Analog Output
Two analog output channels provide a 0–10 V output range with 12-bit resolution, enabling precise control of compatible laser power systems.
Digital Input and Output
Multiple digital input and output interfaces allow the control card to communicate with sensors, relays, switches and other peripheral components.
Motion Control Support
The card includes a stepper motor interface for controlling motion components used in compatible equipment configurations.
Multiple Communication Interfaces
RS232, SPI and I2C interfaces are available for integration with external controllers, sensors and auxiliary devices.
Expandable System Configuration
Optional functions include secondary scan-head control, marking-on-the-fly input and extended digital I/O, depending on the card configuration.

Main Interfaces
Scan Head Interface
The main scan-head connector uses a D-SUB 9-pin female interface and supports SL2-100 communication with compatible galvanometer scanning systems.
Laser Interface
The D-SUB 15-pin laser interface includes:
- LASER1 and LASER2 signals

Expansion Interface 1
The 40-pin expansion connector provides:

The 26-pin expansion connector provides eight digital outputs that can be configured for compatible laser-control applications.
Optional Secondary Scan Head

The 10-pin stepper motor connector provides switch, enable, direction and clock signals for two compatible motion channels.
